Biography
Amanda Delgado was crowned Miss California U.S. International on May 20th in Brea, CA. Born and raised in Southern California, Amanda is true California girl. She loves the beach, she practices yoga and loves to travel.
Amanda is a working model with a significant portfolio of accomplishments. Amanda is a part time student at Chaffey College while pursuing her career, where she will major in Visual communications fashion merchandising.
Amanda enjoys traveling the world. As a representative of the USA in the Philippines, Ecuador, Columbia and China she has learned not only about other cultures, but something new about herself each time. In each case she has been culturally enriched and has left something of herself as well.
Amanda's plans are to begin to work with organizations such as Relay for Life, Feeding America and self-esteem programs throughout her reign. All of these causes are close to her heart. Amanda is also open to experiences and would love to support worthy organizations and welcomes requests and communication to sponsor worthy causes.
On June 15, 2012, fresh off being named Miss California U.S. International, Amanda competed in the National Pageant won, and was crowned Miss U.S. International 2012. |
Amanda says, "Pageants have helped me developed as a young lady and having competed, directed, and judged pageants I feel there is always a new experience to embrace and treasure".
As Amanda has said, "A crown on your head is beautiful....but if you never sparkled without it, you'll never sparkle with it".
Amanda Delgado will be going on to compete for Miss International in Okinawa, Japan this October 2012. |
